Yet another tragic reminder of how many poorly trained "providers" are performing these surgical procedures on unsuspecting patients....
In Orlando alone there are several ER doctors, a few gynecologists, and an eye doctor (!) all saying they are experts in liposuction and fat transfer. The eye doctor (Dr. Roger Bassin) has advertisements claiming expertise in fat transfer to the breast... I'm not sure how much training in breast surgery the average eye doctor receives... Hmm...
PLEASE be careful- find a surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, who will do your surgery in an accredited facility, with a qualified anesthesia provider. Doing so is the ONLY way to maximize your chances of being safe and happy!
