CHARITY KICK BALL GAME IN PEORIA

The Jonas Brothers will be coming to the West Valley for a game of kickball at the Peoria Sports Complex on Aug. 11 before performing at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale that evening.
The pop group will play against 104.7 KISS FM deejays Johnjay and Rich in a charity game benefiting the Christmas Wish program and the Johnjay and Rich Care for Kids Foundation.
Gates open at 12:30 p.m. and the game will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Entrance to the Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave., off Loop 101 and Bell Road, is free. Raffle tickets for autographed Jonas Brothers paraphernalia, meet and greets and party passes will be $5 for one or $10 for three.
To bid for a spot to join the Johnjay and Rich All-Star Celebrity Kickball Team or the Jonas Brother’s Kickball Team, visit www.johnjayandrich.com.
With some school districts in session, organizers are not sure how many people to expect. The radio station predicts anywhere from 500 to 2,000, but the Peoria Sports Complex can hold 11,000, said Melissa Melton, a city spokeswoman.
