After shower, while your hair is still damp, spray some detangling spritz for nourishment.

In order to add more control and height to your hair, try to use a volumizing spray.

Use a grooming cream to make the hair especially the ends look polished.

Blow dry your hair until it is 90% dry to cut the drying time.

Start blow drying from the nape section of your hair. It will be better if you will separate your hair into three sections and blow drying the top most part last.

In order to add volume and bend, use a round brush. If you want to have a sleek look, use a paddle brush.

Bouffant Hairstyle is Back

Retro is back and so is a bouffant hairstyle. I have posted several hairstyle that will become a hit this coming year, another hairstyle that will be back this coming 2010 is the bouffant hairstyle.

Bouffant hairstyle became popular in the 60’s. It is one of the messy type hairstyle that became popular in the 60s where you need several bottles of hairspray and hairpins to put the hairstyle in perfect place.

Bouffant hairstyle will definitely become a hit this coming year because it comes in loose hair strands that emphasize sexiness. It shows sexy napes, no wonder many celebrities are already wearing this kind of hairdo lately. Check them out!

Hair Style: Messy Bun

Aside from a boy cut hair style, a messy bun hairstyle is also a hit this season. It is very hot right now that you can actually turn everyone’s head in your way.

Here are the steps on how to make a messy bun hairstyle:

First, you sweep the front part of your hair to one side and create a fuller crown. Paddle brush both sides of your head to the back of your head using your fingers.

Second, get an elastic rubber band and gather your hair to a loose pony. Make sure that the base of your pony should rest in the middle of the back of your head.

Third, create a pony slightly to create fullness on top of your head and make them in place using a hairspray.

Pin some of the curls in place and then slightly loosen them to make a messy look.

Stylish hairdo for 2010

If you are planning to get a new hairdo this coming holiday season, you need to be updated on what’s going to be “in” this coming year.

This 2010, monochromatic hair color will be the fashion style. Yes, it will be the sexy and stylish hairdo for 2010. Streaks and highlights will be saying good bye at the end of the 2009.

Here are some of my tips to maintain that monochromatic hairdo all year long:

For blonds, make sure to brighten your base and try to blend any existing highlights. You need to do a monthly gloss or an hair spa to get that extra shine.

For Brunettes, A deep chocolate or coffee shade will do the trick. Choose a darker shades, at least 2 tones darker, in order to get that sultriness.

For red heads, stay away from copper hues. They will make your complexion pale. Try using the amber or auburn shade.
